Privacy Policy — My Gym Tracker

This Privacy Policy explains what information My Gym Tracker (the "App") collects, how it is used, and your rights. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and password (stored hashed) when you create an account. We use Supabase as our authentication and database provider.
• Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations, notes, and templates that you create in the App. This is synced to your account so you can access it across devices.
• Voice recordings (optional) — if you use voice workout logging, audio is captured locally on your device, transcribed, and the transcription is saved as workout notes. Raw audio is not transmitted off-device or retained after transcription.
• Diagnostic information — basic crash reports and app diagnostic information (no personal data) so we can fix bugs.

2. Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your location.
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, calendar, or other personal media.
• We do not collect advertising identifiers (this version of the App contains no ads or third-party tracking).
• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the core features of the App (logging workouts, syncing across devices, viewing history).
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To improve the App through anonymized diagnostics.

4. Service providers

We use the following third-party services. Each receives only the data needed for their function:

• Supabase — authentication, database, file storage. supabase.com/privacy
• Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and crash diagnostics.

5. Data security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Account data is stored in encrypted Supabase Postgres with row-level security so each user can only access their own records. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms; we never see your plaintext password.

6. Your rights

• You can request a copy of your data by emailing the address below.
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing the address below or using the in-app delete-account option.
• EU/UK users have rights under GDPR and may contact us to exercise them.
• California users have rights under the CCPA/CPRA and may contact us to exercise them.

7. Children

My Gym Tracker is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
